  • Training paralegal workers and human rights defenders.

  • Organizing human rights awareness campaigns and training.

  • Advancing indigenous people at the national, regional and international level with a focus on the Africa Commission on Human and Peoples rights and UN processes.

  • Providing legal aid and linking to survivors of human rights violation and abuses to national strategic organizations.

KEY ACTIONS.

IMPACT supported the litigation process against the eviction of the Leparua community in Isiolo County.

IN 2019.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2021

IMPACT is celebrating the International Women Day by launching its organizational gender strategy and a thematic position paper dedicated to strengthen indigenous women leadership and rights to land and natural resources.

Challenging barriers and factors inhibiting indigenous women from the full realization of their land and natural rights enables the women concerned to realize their full potential.
