And yes we can't hide our excitement because its about that time of the year again when the Camel Caravan is held.The purpose of this yearly activity is to create awareness on the importance of conserving water catchment areas, create a platform for indigenous communities to interact and embrace cultural diversity, bring together different stakeholders and other government policymakers and to identify peace strategies that will help in the mitigation of conflicts among the pastoral communities.
This years theme is "Saving the Ewaso Ng'iro North Ecosystem: Restoration of the basin through climate change actions, promotion of livelihoods and peaceful co-existence."
The proposed date is 16th -21st September,2021.
