IMPACT research project through PARAN alliance is officially inaugurating studies on; supporting grassroot environmental peace-building movements in Northern Kenya,how climate change is impacting peace ,conflicts and security and understanding the impacts of covid 19 in fragile and conflict affected areas/regions:A case study of northern Kenya.

This studies that will be carried out in Laikipia, Marsabit, Isiolo and Samburu will equip the alliance members with skills to sustain and scale up peace-building efforts,they will be able to play more active roles in policy dialogue and policy making.Furthermore,the research will provide practical guidance on supporting and training grassroots environmental peace-building movements, the community will be impacted on understanding how grassroots environmental peace-building movements emerge in fragile context.
